And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Could be, but maybe it could be parking places for the rest of the village: look at it, in the most part the streets are directly at the houses, there is not much places left for individual parking, and you have maybe 300 yards or so to walk, and you are at the harbor / coast by foot...
All of those parking spaces must be for a community center or the like.

I bet you’re right. Maybe during winter they only plow the main roads up to that point and folks walk the rest of the way home.
