      Anyway.
      I recall an art appreciation class in college which opened my eyes to the subtle complexities in the impressionist's painting. Monet and Manet being my favorites.

    2. Easy enough to reckon that every painting is an individual's expression of "impressionism". Even cameras with filters, lighting and such mirror the "clicker's" impression of the subject. Friend, just enjoy the pretty pictures or turn the page.

  2. Obviously he has never seen a major exhibition of Impressionists, like Monet, Manet, Pizzarro, Cezzanne, Renoir, Degas, Morisot, Cassett etc. Pity!

  3. When we get a chance, we'll spend hours at the Chicago Art Institute where there's a large collection of Impressionist artwork.
