  1. Useful to whom? Home "handyman" kitsch.

  2. Owned one for a while now. Comes in handy.

  3. I bought one and took it back because it was too fat to fit into the narrow clearance between the nut and the sink wall.

  4. I have one of those. When you need it you need it. Most of the time it rattles around in the bottom drawer of my rollaway. But every once in a while it's just the thing.

  5. That's assuming the nut will even turn. Generally they won't/ Limned and corroded into place forever.

  6. I love the picture of the plumber/handyman making quick easy work of using the thing. There's never enough room under that sink, and there you are, on your back, with a flashlight in your teeth that never has quite enough light, and you're trying to squeeze some tool up into the back of that sink.

The tool prolly helps, but this is a horrible chore no matter how good the tool.

    1. Amen. Working under the sink is probably my least favorite chore.

  7. and...while you're laying on your back, trying to see around the drain pipe, and contorting yourself to reach the nut, water and little pieces of rust drop in your eyes.
