And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Parents had one like that in dark green when I was a kid. I liked the knob on the interior above the windshield that turned the antenna in different directions.

ReplyDeleteOptional fog lamps and tinted windshield, too. GM offered the shaded tinted glass before any other manufacturer. Great photo!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a '48. My grandfather bought one six weeks before he died, and my grandmother drove it for several years with the grandkids in the car.
