And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Despite numerous tries, never acquired a taste much less rationale for Worcestershire sauce. It might as well be "what's this here sauce". A little S&P, garlic and gravy do right for my taste. Use of ketchup is restricted to French fries & fried seafood. If nobody's looking, a minimal touch is applied to scrambled eggs. Under no circumstance is ketchup allowed near hotdogs.
Rob is correct about it being used as a spice. A little added to soups and stews is amazing! My wife likes to sprinkle a bit on our hamburgers before I charcoal grill them. This stuff is like magic!
If a gorgeous cut of beef like that needs to have sauce put on it then you may as well throw the whole roast in the garbage
ReplyDeleteThat's right! Throw it in the garbage - go nuclear with your rejection!
DeleteWell that's the thing, a gorgeous cut of beef like that DOESN'T need a sauce.
DeleteIt's already at it's best.
Sauce just insults it, but stylish people can't tell the diff.
I'm a fan of Lea & Perrins W sauce, a couple of shakes in most anything makes a nice difference.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tony, anyone that would put sauce on that roast would put catsup on eggs and drink Bud Lite
ReplyDeleteEveryone gets to eat what they like, the way they like it, without judgement from the over-opinionated.
DeleteNothing wrong with catsup on scrambled eggs but I'll concede that BL is swill.
Delete- WDS
BL is fag lube.

A little bit added to sauces (& even potato salad) is amazing... not a lot, just a little. Think of it as a spice not a condiment.
DeleteOnly thing that should touch that piece of
ReplyDeletemeat is a little horseradish!

ReplyDeleteW sauce is an amazing condiment. Both regular and fireshire.Great as a binder before smoking. It makes L&P seem like brown water.
