And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

On a side note. Reagan would not have allowed Chrysler, GM or Ford to sell their unreliable, inefficient and ugly 80's landbarges to the Cubans... In hindsight that might have been a mistake. If 80's Cordobas and Caprices had been available in Cuba the regime would have folded much quicker! They would have run out of gas or died of boredom in any of these cars. Cuba would be free by now!
