And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I've used an earlier version of this for the last ten years. Still going strong.
Every so often, I have to replace the base pad. If you get too aggressive with it, it digs in and makes a permanent divot. But it's...lemme think...30+ years old.
DeWalt does have some hard working products.

Mines about 15 years old and the dust collector loads up pretty quick. If I'm using it a lot I connect the small shop vac to it.
