And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Ancient writing on stone in the Bilqis Temple ruins in the Saba Valley. One of the most famous archaeological sites in Yemen.
That sounds like the perfect answer to the question "If you could go back in time, what message would you leave there just to fuck with the current generation?"
When I saw Yemen in the post title I knew that I would find several racist comments... You people are quite predictable and never fail to fail at the most basic human level.
Nevermind the fact that Yemeni people were able to build impressive temples at a time when most people in North America struggled to find two rocks to stack together.
The temple ruins are from the Sabaean Kingdom - significantly predating anything to do with the people that presently populate Yemen, including the Iranian tools that launch the Ayatollah's missiles for him - now don't let that stop you from preening in your self-righteous dust bath, but do take a moment to explain how you call anyone else racist after you make an utterly pointless effort to insult ancient North American tribes! Boy, oh boy! Just wait until the Olmecs hear that zinger, right?!
