Too Far?

  1. Considering America has taken water over the rail for three years by a bunch of anarchist power-mongers proves (for now anyway) we’re not heeled-over far enough to sink the boat. Pretty sure those Helly Hansen boys known what they’re doing.

  2. Looks like the sail is in the water, to me that doesn't look good but I know very little about sailing..

    1. Maybe the current is running faster than the wind.....

  3. Any heel more than about 20 degrees means you are wasting air.

  4. If you're dipping your sail, you're doing it wrong!

    1. Because you can't let out your mainsail and the rudder is less than responsive because it is sideways too. I always liked the windward rail for this kind of fun.

Ps, sailed dinghies for decades. Especially when it blew full gale or better. I have been out in 75 mph winds.
