And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Looks like the two stacks to the left are slabs from a sawmill. That was always one of the best fringe benefits of working in a mill. Spend fifteen minutes loading up the pickup at the end of your shift and before you know it you've got a season's worth of kindling and half your winter's wood supply in.
The woodshed is nice and tidy too.

I've got a mill 3 miles away, they load it on my trailer for $10 a bundle. That's about half cord. I love Tennessee.
