  2. I read that in today's San Francisco, something like 60% of the buildings in downtown are empty. It is a virtual ghost town. Aside from the nasty assed homeless addicts.

  4. The building at the foot of Market (brick colored on the right) is the old Southern Pacific Building and is still standing...

  5. It's amazing what American cities looked like back when people who were irretrievably crazy were institutionalized instead of being given free range to live and crap on the streets in between drug deals, running naked in traffic, and assaulting and killing random bystanders.

    Almost like people in the 1940s and '50s were onto something.
