  2. That’s fixable. Prop’s bent, so that’s an engine overhaul. Couple lift struts, some welding at the tail fin tubing and some fabric work…. except for all the salt water immersion….that’s gonna cause issues.

    1. Nah. Just run a line to the tailwheel assembly, and flip it right over the nose, then a simple tow off the beach, tail first. Winch it onto a flatbed when you run out of sand, and away you go. Probably have to remove the wings to go any distance on the road.

      Why they don't have gas cap restraints is puzzling. You want the caps to stay right there with the plane, and if they are banging around and beating little dents in the panels while letting you know you screwed up, that is a lot better than this semi-bad result.
