And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Goes with the other Warhammer
“Crows Beak” Warhammer from Tomar, Portugal dated to the 14th Century, and on display at the Museum of the National Republican Guard in Lisbon.
I wondered how tall a war hammer was... 2-3 ft or 5-6 ft sometimes. I'd think a 6' hammer might be awkward to swing but I've never messed with a hammer that long, maybe it's a matter of how tall you are and how much practice you've had?

Cmon man. Put a wire wheel on a drill motor and clean that thing up!
