And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
#18 with the 3 splittie buses? That would be the Shasta Snow trip, every year they make a run from (as I recall) from Willits Calif to Shasta City by back/forest roads. The bus has to be a '67 or older. You can find pictures, videos & reports if you search for "vw bus run from Willits to Lake Shasta".
I'm reminded from the sheep switchback foto, in studying PIE two benchmarks occur across the language (when they do), that of "wagon words" that give the researchers a reference as to date, and earlier "wool words" that do the same.
Picture is worth how many words? Look at the guy with his dog in the pickup!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the one with the dog.
