    1. Looks to be a fairly large size room. No need to scoot the bed next to the stove. However, this building is nothing but windows, no insulation, and a place you don't want to stay after Halloween.

  2. His wife told him where he could put the stove, a place where he could never enjoy it. Like a cuck he folds. As always.

  6. When I was a small kid in the sixties I read about the forest service hiring people to spend a summer in one of these to watch for fires. I thought that sounded like the coolest summer job ever. By the time I was old enough to do it airplanes had taken over the job and the last of the fire towers and cabins had long been closed.

    1. we have one tower left standing in Gates County, NC on Rt 158. my mother: "I remember when the Three C's boys built it."

Kerouac and a guy shacked in one out west, not an unheard of arrangement. in that era while using mescaline, he coined the phrase "walking on water wasn't built in a day".

    2. Edward Abbey, not precisely my favorite dood but better than some of the current crop of tree kissers, did that gig for years.
