  1. I wonder if any or all of them have a 351 Cleveland under the hood?

    1. Just a thong and some saggy boobs…

    2. I had a 70 Cougar with the 351C. you had to unbolt the motor mounts and jack up the engine to change the rear spark plugs. The shoehorned that motor into that body. Most reliable engine I ever owned.

  2. Looks like a red '68, black '69 (with a possible 351 Cleveland) and an orange '70 Eliminator with a 429.

    1. I right clicked on the picture only. Then I clicked, "Open link in new window". This made everything bigger, to view better. How can it be certain that the black one is a 1969?

  4. Wasn't there a Cougar around that year that had sparkplugs that were nearly impossible to reach?

    1. The 390 was very hard to change plugs

    2. Had a ‘67 390. When I bought it the seller gave me the wrench he cut and modified for plug changes. It was also a thirsty beast with that Holley.

  5. Raised in a Cougar family. Mom had a 67 with the 289. I Had a 72 with a 351C and a 70 with a 351W. Loved them both. The Windsor had more bottom end and the Cleveland had no limit to the top it seemed.
