And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
i used to have to deal with these self-righteous a-h's when i was driving truck and there were times they simply insisted on taking up the whole lane and backing everyone up. i remember taking a corner one time at approx 50mph and there were 4-5 abreast in my lane. i grabbed the air horn and jut hung on it and all of the bikes went into the ditch. scared the crap out of me.
The race rules should have made crossing after the arms are down a DQ.
