As late as the 70’s, there were a couple of Ford Trimotors ferrying passengers from Cleveland to islands in Lake Erie. One crashed, and the service ended.
My wife gave the son , her 68 Fastback GT 390 . Just a couple years ago. Hopefully he doesn't do something stupid and give it to his teenage son. I expect he will though...

DeleteJunkers JU-52 and Ford. The Ford AT-4 Trimotor was a high wing aircraft with two of the engines in nacelles under the wings.
