    1. Which makes this place all the more special. Like going back in a time machine.
      I love the plastic thingy on the rotary dial phone. I had forgotten all about those things until I saw this picture.

      Don't you love milkshakes all the more when they come in that stainless Hamilton Beach blender cup? One and three-quarters shakes for the price of one!
      I wonder if Oney (Adin, CA) shakes come served like that.

  2. Oh, the memories! Sitting even at a drug store fountain we were treated to lime or raspberry “Ricky’s” and oh…. Those milkshakes!

  3. Small town outside KC has some interesting shops and restaurants. One place had an old setup like that and a couple visiting from another country were absolutely fascinated by the process of creating various flavor drinks and shakes.
    And the drinks still taste great :)
