And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Carpenter of 32 years. This is my go to saw. I always use a saw with a cord. Power is unmatched if you use an appropriate lead cord.15 Amp so no less that a 14 gauge on 25'. 12 gauge on a 50'. Blow out the internals with compressed air after each day's work.
About 35 years ago I got a Porter-Cable saw with a quarter-inch aluminum base plate. I only do DIY stuff, but I’ve built a couple dozen large projects including a large barn and it has never let me down. I’ve replaced the cord and swap out blades pretty regularly. It’s not light and my arm gets a good workout. One of my sons will still be using it long after I am under the sod.
Corded too!
ReplyDeleteThe circular saw was invented by a woman, Tabitha Babbitt.
