And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Crosby, Stills & Nash - Southern Cross (Official Music Video HD)
I wasn't shocked when Melissa Etheridge's kid OD'd. Well, her "wife's" kid, via Crosby. They figured he'd inherit some musical talent, I guess. A taste for chemicals is what he got from pop.
Stills is the master. Without him, CSN and later CSNY would never have happened / worked. A complicated man, his emotions run deep within him and his greatest gift from God is his ability to turn his feelings into poetic song lyrics.
Props to Stills and Nash for putting up with Crosby for all those years.
