1957 Chrysler 300 C for sale at Volo Auto Museum

Thanks, Eddie

They want a quarter million for it.  It's cute how optimistic they are.  Bless their hearts.

  1. My dad had several 300s but not this one. 1/4 mil eh!

  2. If a dollar would buy an ounce of silver back in 1957, then at $25.16 per ounce they value it at about $9,940 1957 dollars, or about what they sold it for originally.

  3. My dad had one but it was blue on the bottom and white on top. Threw a rod on the way to Palm Springs.

  4. Volo’s prices have always been on the “optimistic” side… 😂

    1. Yup, they have overvalued everything in their collection for many years.

  5. For free, maybe - for buy waste my time. One the best vehicles I've ever seen was a '56 Chrysler 300 that the late Boyd Coddington finessed to some n'th degree. Paraphrasing a pickup line an old acquaintance used; "if it was my car, I'd have to stay up for a week just looking at it. Then I'd drive it".

  6. That's not a cross ram intake system.

  8. Put it up on Mecum Auctions, it might get close to a quarter mil.

  9. Typical salesman, doesn't know what he's talking about. That is not a cross-ram intake, they weren't offered until 1960. https://www.macsmotorcitygarage.com/secrets-of-chrysler-ram-induction/
