  2. When I was in serving in the old Republic of Viet Nam as a soldier in the United States Army, I flew on Pan American Airlines jets when I went to Japan, and later to Australia, on Rest and Recuperation leaves.

  3. Back in the early '50s my dad worked for Pan Am. We flew the B-377 on several occasions. But that's when flying was civilized, not the cattle car experience of today

  8. The "Boeing Trimotor". Over-omplicated and Unreliable Multibank Radial Engines.
    Look up "Ocean Station November" and the Film of one Ditching in the Pacific, by a Coast Guard Cutter between Hawa'ii and San Fransisco.
