And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
When I was in serving in the old Republic of Viet Nam as a soldier in the United States Army, I flew on Pan American Airlines jets when I went to Japan, and later to Australia, on Rest and Recuperation leaves.
Back in the early '50s my dad worked for Pan Am. We flew the B-377 on several occasions. But that's when flying was civilized, not the cattle car experience of today
