And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
One of my neighbor's dad bought his son a 65 Impala SS when he returned home from Vietnam, It was a couple of years old by then and needed some work but in 6 months Billy had that thing looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor
A 65'! That was my car in High School! Loved that Land Yacht!

ReplyDeleteThat is the only year model with those lights. MY FAVOURITE!!! Wish Wish Wish.
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather bought a '62 Impala and my older brother bought a '62 Impala SS. Both had triple taillights. I think '61 and '63's had 'em too.
DeleteWe had a '64, starting in '65 you had curved windows
ReplyDeleteI think my buddy's '58 had those triple tail lights. The Impala had that, the lower grade cars had less lights.
ReplyDeleteMy old man inherited a '65 caprice from his dad. Iconic cars. I'd buy an Impala/caprice of that era in a minute if I could find one.
