And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
That thar is an apeshit difficult climb. I climbed some big ass date palms in So. Cal., much easier than the picture. It gets much easier once he gets into the branches.
At first I thought it might be Jerry Beranek buy you're right, that's not a redwood. But if you're interested in climbing Jerry's work is a must read. The man is fearless and very intelligent.
I have that photo framed on a wall in the man-cave derived from a Redwing boot poster from the 80s. FYI there is another guy on the other side as they did those in tandem.
