  2. The Mig-15 used an unlicensed copy of the Frank Whittle Rolls Royce engine. And I think it’s cool they didn’t bother to decouple the engine from the forward fuselage. Maybe they reassembled the airframe for use after the thaw?

    1. Everything needed to run the engine is on board. Makes sense. 'Course, here in the States, someone would need to get paid to design and fabricate a special rig to do the same job. Sometimes simple is better.

  4. Hey, run whatcha brung, as they say. There's a few jet powered snow clearing devices around NA somewhere. Twas on youtube a long time ago.
