A castaway depot on Antipodes Island. Castaway depots are huts placed on isolated islands containing supplies and tools for castaways and shipwreck victims. New Zealand built many of these on their subantarctic islands in the 19th and 20th century.

    Nowadays, a solar-powered PLB would be a much better idea.
