Maybe not the best idea

  1. Anybody ever use it or drink radium infused water? Or know anybody that did, because this kind of stuff was big for awhile. And if so what happened to them.

    1. The dose makes the poison. Unfortunately, radium is an alkali metal-it's going to be pretty hard to get rid of if ingested- and its primary decay products are alpha and beta particles. Easily stopped externally, really bad for you internally. So the dose here is teensy to be really bad for you. Really bad idea to drink "radium infused" water, at least if it had any radium in it. Which it probably didn't, but there wasn't much quality control in any of these nostrums.

  3. If you're curious enough, read the book "The Radium Girls". They glowed in the dark. https://www.amazon.com/Radium-Girls-Readers-poison-people/dp/1728209471/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2ITI1ORWUTMSP&keywords=The+Radium+Girls&qid=1678135118&sprefix=the+radium+girls%2Caps%2C996&sr=8-4
