    1. Anon, that is an interesting statement. Any evidence to support that? Exactly how would it be determined with accuracy that that is how it is?

      My hat is off to the biologist(s) who proved that statement.

    3. Nothing I can point to online, and I won't say bears never eat honey, but fellow beeks who've had their hives ravaged by bears in NE WA and north Idaho will tell you that bears go after their brood frames, not honey.

      So my claim is anecdotal, but some of these old guys have been keeping bees for decades.
