And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Actor Charlie Chaplin and his new bride 18-year-old Oona O'Neil make their first public appearance at the nightclub Mocambo.West Hollywood,July 1943. They lived together for 34 years and had 8 children.
Her daddy Eugene O'Neal was deeply disappointed. Previously she dated writer J.D. Salinger who was shattered by the situation. That guy was always in pursuit of underage girls.
