And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
A friend had a '67 that we drove to GP & sports car races back in the late 60's, early 70's. We'd spend the night in the thing, two normal size guys. It couldn't have been comfortable but we were young. My classic '02 Durango would have been better but I saw people spending the night in two seater sports cars.
My first car was a '65 Barracuda. 273ci, 2 barrel carb and automatic. 13" wheels with one side having right hand thread lugnuts and the other side having left hand lugnuts. Torsion bar front suspension. Next year my brother bought a '66 Barracuda Formula S, 273ci, 4 bbl carb, 4 speed stick, 14" wheels.
Plymouth Barracuda, really cool car. Rear seats folded down to make a bed.
ReplyDeleteEvery young man's car.
My sister had a red one for a short time before she totalled it. Didn't look to be all that badly damaged.

At the time it was the biggest rear window I had ever seen on a car.
