And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

CT at max speed - this is what's spinning around you when you go in
We used to have a pretty good healthcare in the US. Then the government decided to get involved, now we have horrible healthcare at an exorbitant price.
It's uncommon to run a scanner at that speed. The majority of scans are done with a rotational speed of 0.8 to 1.0 seconds per rotation. With a 128 slice scanner running at 0.8 seconds per rotation I can scan a typical abdomen in about 10-11 seconds. And the images are reconstructed and presented in near real time. A vast improvement over 4 decades ago when it took 9+ seconds per rotation and 55 seconds for the computer to perform the calculations to produce a single image.
Almost as fast as your head will spin when you get the bill.
