An interesting and possibly very useful concept in hammocks

  3. the above and, because the fabrics are usually quite thin mosquitos drill right thru it into your tender...flesh. our experience with thin mosquito netting in the military while in 'other places' has been that any body part touching the netting is listed as being under the mosquito five second rule. the 'black fly' of some lands south of the Med tend to eat a hole in netting to get to the tasty bits on the other side....

    A couple weeks ago CW posted a very nice hammock and I commented that I had one. I mentioned that it is very deep and easy to wrap the edges closed in a cocoon. I've tried holding them closed with large clips, with mixed results,. They keep popping loose if I shift around. I keep meaning to get bigger clips at omax but keep forgetting.

    Re mosquitos, not a problem. Hammock is thin nylon but I've never been button through it
