  1. Looks to be a buck Sika deer. A small Japanese elk. They were imported to the U.S. years ago as a game animal just like the ring-neck pheasant. I've hunted them on the Eastern Shore of Maryland down in the marshes. Six points on the antlers is about as big as they come. Not smart carrying it on her back, she might get misidentified and shot.

  4. I think that is a Roe Deer. This would be very small for a Sitka and still small for a Roe. The Merkel Gear coat is a German company and advertizes toward the hunteress, I believe this is in Europe and is a Roe. Now the lady would be a better trophy to carry around. Don't believe slung over the back is the best position for that though.
