And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T convertible in triple white, including a shaker and Magnum 500 wheels
My brother had a box stock '70 six cylinder, three speed, AM radio, no A/C, no nothing. But it was red with a black interior. my favorite. So, I was in the market and inspired by my brother's car I went to the Dodge dealer, got a brochure and went away to design my car. I went back to the dealer to place an order and was told that the salesman I had talked to would be with me shortly. Well, I saw the salesman sitting on his desk, talking on the phone. I waited a reasonable amount of time and left. I bought the '69 Alfa GTV I'd wanted, anyway. I still wish I'd gotten that Challenger.
Lead guitarist in the band I was in in Ft. Walton Beach trade hes '67 Camaro for a1970 Charger R/T in Panther Pink with the shaker hood and blacked out hood and blacked out louvers over the rear window.....black interior with a slap stick shifter....Muscle Car days....my preference was a '69 Roadrunner with a 426 Hemi....or perhaps a 70' Chevelle 454....
Makes one's heart palpitate.
ReplyDeleteHard to read the call out on the shaker, but does that say hemi?
ReplyDeleteRegardless, beautiful car.
Not enough room on my checks for all the zeros after whatever the first number is.
