  2. Read about rocks uncovered at extreme low water in creeks and rivers that have writing on them, often centuries old, carved by people about draught and famine times way back then. Sort of an "if you can see this, you are in trouble" warning, I guess.

  3. My son has a theory that technological civiliztions have arisen several times only to be completely destroyed leaving nothing behind except that which is carved in stone. He also has a theory that the rapture already happened and so few people got called up that nobody even noticed.
