And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Well,here in Indiana it seemed like most farmers had the ubiquitous big red stake bed,usually an IH. Those are going away now,being replaced by full on semi's.
Drove a passenger van version back in the 70s. 4 speed on the column. Easy to miss a gear. Had 13 inch tires/wheels. Weird little truck, but all our guys had fun driving it.
Cool old pickup but woefully inadequate for actually farming.

DeleteI'm in Indiana and if I had it there'd be a 351 Cleveland right in the middle. Run the blower scoop right out the top of the roof. Lil Red Wagon.
DeleteI drove a 1963 cab-over-engine Econoline van for the Phone Company. Not bad in the winter, but it was a bear in the summer.
