And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Swamp Rat was one of the first people to apply marine diesel technology to racing engines - machining out the entire bore of an engine block and installing sleeves made everything absolutely the same and stronger.
Back about 1963 or 64, I saw him at Atco dragstrip. I saw him tear his engine apart and throw all the bolts into a bucket of solvent. When he was putting it back together, he'd just reach into the bucket and pull out the bolt he wanted. Just by feel, never once looking into the bucket. This is HJETS, I'm on my wife's computer at a campground.
As an old drag racer, I'd love to be able to read that tome.

I was there in 1964, the day he first broke 200 MPH in the quarter mile at Great Meadows, NJ. My car was running in the 15's, about 90 MPH LOL!
