And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

What a Tiger's skin looks like after being shaved. (for medical treatment).
I had a calico cat, that loved hunting in the shrubbery. She would get so matted with sap, that she would walk up to me, and flip over on her back. That was her way if saying, " Attend me human, and remove this troublesome fur!". Sometimes, Thomasina would be so matted, all I could do was shave her. Her skin matched her fur, much to my surprise.
My St. Bernards skin is the same as the tigers. The skin color pattern is the same as the fir colors when shaved. This also applies to many other breeds.
I always wondered why a tiger couldn't change his stripes? Smarter every day!
