  1. Somebody may have been killed in that one.
I'd like to have seen it in person from where the camera was.

    1. Looks like it was a security camera. That was one heck of a ride! I wonder if the driver remembered when they sobered up...

    2. I wonder what the guy whose car became the landing zone said when he came out in the aftermath.

  2. You can use a axe, you can use a saw, but as we can see, there are other ways to cut down a tree.

    2. I think you underestimate the speed at which a cat can accelerate when the threat level increases. Bet he got scratch when he hit second and third gear!

  6. They are putting roundabouts in place in Texas but not everybody seems to be real clear about how they operate. I call one of them near our home "Hickadilly Circus".

    1. I read an article awhile back that claimed that the roundabout movement going on in a lot of states, in spite of almost universal resistance, is the government playing nice with the "one world government" crowd.
Getting us ready for being citizens of the world.
Wouldn't surprize me to see more of these type accidents.

    2. I like them, once people get used to them. When people understand I almost never have to stop.

    3. There's a ton of them in Fort Worth, mostly on feeder roads, and they are disasters. Roundabouts (properly done) are real estate hogs, and the city planners have already zoned the roads - so the roundabouts they're putting in are tiny. Which means that people are always entering them too fast. And because Texas is booming, they create a major source of congestion, where a simple set of lights would meter the traffic flow much better. Fort Worth has some of the most badly-designed roads in the state, coupled with non-stop construction. Nightmare.

  7. How to go through a roundabout with style and panache. Once.

The Feds are 80% funding roundabouts nationwide, so expect to see more. Many more.

    1. That explains it. They just tore out a brand new 4 way stop intersection near here to change it to a roundabout.

  8. Fairly common on Russian dashcam videos. Not all in Russia, of course. John Conner is a good channel.
