  1. ???
I zoomed as far as Win10 will allow, it was color.
Saved the file to disc, opened in Thumbs+, zoomed WAY in, still color.
Where's the black and white part?
Just asking, not trying to be annoying.

    1. Zoom into the faces.
The black and white is between the lines.
      The lines are in color.
      Nice illusion!

    2. That’s interesting. I’m viewing it on an IPad and I don’t have to zoom it in to see it’s black and white with Orange/red yellow green and blue horizontal lines running over certain areas that give it the impression they have color. Very effective weigh the foliage.

    3. Just look directly at the area between any two lines.
      No zoom required.

    4. YEP, no zoom needed. I picked up on it quick....look close at the dude's face on the right.

  2. Now you messin' with my brain. We used to take a magnifying glass and hold it up to the screen on our first color TV. It looked about the same. I am not "that old" 48. We were poor.

    1. My dad was a underpaid construction worker under the Carter administration. He busted his ass without any Appalachian American Privilege, and hell no there wouldn't be any food stamps or government assistance. That shit used to be embarrassing not expected.

  3. Well, I don't see what all the fuss is, it's already black and white here on my Commodore.

  4. That illusion is what made colour television practical back when it was invented. What it showed was a sharp black and white picture with a comparatively low bandwidth colour (chrominance) signal added - if you looked carefully you could tell it was really blurred compared with the underlying black and white.
