Aut cum scuto aut in scuto
Hmm. More like, rode hard 'n up wet.
My grand father had an old truck like that, parked and derelict in front of the barn, when I was a wee tyke. A Diamond REO, that had been converted into a hay gathering gizmo of some description. I used to to play on it and in it, untill the yellow jackets built a nest and spoiled my fun.
If it was a few years older it'd look like the one that backed into the side of my Blazer a couple months ago, putting 2 small dents in the edge of the right rear fender well. That one looks like early 30's.
'33-'34 judging by the grille. On another note, it appears to have a '32 hood n sides setting atop its nose.
