  3. Just bought it. Thanks for the tip. We have a propane fired furnace and fireplace in the house and a wall mounted ProCom "blueflame" heater out here in my detached office. We have smoke detectors and CO2 detectors and have never had a problem with the professional installs but sometimes we'll catch a wiff of propane. Our propane is now shut off at the 400 gal tank but come winter I'll test this meter out. $105 for something I hope I'll never need.

  4. I bought a similar detector (a cheapo one for $30) when I was installing some propane piping. Worked VERY well - found tiny leaks undetectable by the bubble test.
