If you've ever been tempted to try shaving with a straight razor, then this might be something to consider.

Stefan has this one up for sale on his Etsy shop.

High quality Swedish steel, insanely sharp (Stefan's specialty), and a reasonable price.

  1. I tried using a straight razor just once.
There was no bloodshed, but it seemed that the risks outweighed the benefits, and the learning curve of use and care was long..
Thus my name for the razor would be HellNo.

    1. I'm with you! I'll take the modern technology of shaving any day of the week over one of those things. Now,having a straight shave done by a pro is okay. I think over the years I've treated myself to a barbershop straight shave perhaps a half dozen times, always for a special occasion and once in Vegas hoping that would make my luck turn .LOL. And I've been shaving for 50+ years

  2. Always of the view that "If you weren't supposed to have a beard, why is there hair on your face?". Had a full beard since 1969, after Nam. I don't miss shaving, my wife has never seen me without a beard in person and I don't need TP for the nicks. ;-)

    1. Hey, that sets you up perfectly to have some fun. At some opportune time when she's not expecting anything, take it off and appear clean shaven suddenly out of nowhere. See if she even knows it's you. Then, after the shock and the laughs, grow it back.

  3. I quit buying things on the Etsy sight recently since they now have banned any gun related items from being sold. I'm glad that I ordered a set of custom, Beretta 81 grips shortly before this took effect.......
