And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The Insanely Good Engineering of the Perseverance Rover
NASA alleges that the point of this latest rover is to gather geological samples, seal them in tubes and then leave them lying about on the surface of Mars so they can be retrieved by another mission in the distant future, brought back to Earth and analysed for fossilised signs of ancient life.
Anything but actually run a simple biological test to see if there is current life on Mars. Their dishonesty is breathtaking. Officially the last time NASA tested for life on Mars was in 1974. First the announced to the world that they had found clear evidence of microbial life. Then a week or so later they announced they were mistaken. Since then, over dozens of missions to Mars they have deliberately avoided ever testing again.
Is this not the big question? Why is it that NASA appears to have ZERO interest in testing for life on Mars and is now only prepared to admit that they are taking soil samples which maybe analysed sometime in the distant future which may indicate that there was once life on Mars a billion years ago.
Obviously NASA knows there is life on Mars but doesn't want to tell us about it.
