Redhead Day (Roodharigendag in Dutch) is the name of a Dutch summer festival. The two-day festival, which inaugurated in 2005, is a gathering of people with natural red hair.
Actually, I don't think so. Viking's where blonde. Mind you, I'm not 100% sure. But according to a documentary I saw "The Viking's", and there are many documentaries, they were blonde haired people.
Ya, lots of that happening in Scandinavia. Back in pre-written history, the prehistoric people who occupied upper Scandinavia wouldn’t let the mirgrating Germanic tribes (later Vikings) into the area until they intermarried.

DeleteNo. Red hair is a gene that goes all the way back to Neanderthals who cross-bred with some Homo Sapiens.
