And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Comfortable as they allowed body heat to rise past your shirt, but you had to watch for sawdust entering them - itchy !! As one blogger put it, overalls made it easy to scratch your kachungas whenever you felt like it.
When I was working in Kazakhstan I brought quite a few pairs of Farmer Johns over to give to some of the Kazakhs that were working with us. Man! They loved those things, all the pockets and such. Plus they were blue jeans, which were only get-able through the black market at exorbitant prices.
