And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Can't tell if the number on the island is 65 or 66. if it's 65, USS Enterprise, I worked the flight deck for V-4 division from Dec '75 until Nov '78. It had a much different looking island then, a huge block on top of a smaller block.
It's a little fast for me to see but it looks like the dome on top of the box has been cut off. I left the ship in Nov '78 and I believe in Dec '78 it left Alameda for the Bremerton shipyards for a 3-year dry dock period. I also believe that they cut it down from 8 reactors to 2.
In my younger days I worked with a couple of vets who had balls that clanked when they walked....one was an F84 Thunderjet pilot in Korea and the other flew a B25 Mitchell during WWII. They have both since gone to their rewards but the stories they could tell were awesome.

DeleteSaved it to HD and opened it in ThumbsPlus and stopped it at the right place and zoomed in.
65. Can tell by boxy island designed shared with Long Beach. Plus 66 is conventional (non nuke) and has a stack
