And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
BT;DT Test ride of a new minibike for the shop I worked at ~1971. The lower legs on the front end had tabs that threaded up the fork springs like a screw. The old man only turned them less than a half turn before installing the axle and wheel. Should have been multiple turns. I bounced the front tire off a small bump in the road, and I watched the front wheel assembly and lower fork legs depart the bike just like this video shows happening. Lost my first set of RayBan sunglasses when I hit the pavement. Shop was lucky I rode it before a customer did.
There's no logical reasoning for dumb asses.
ReplyDeleteYou forgot that lockwasher,.....didn't you!
DeleteFace & chest abrasions sting.
ReplyDeleteI love the way it gracefully launches over the rear tire...at first...!
ReplyDeleteKinda like the Daytona 500 yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWhat I really wonder is how this stuff just coincidentally happens while being filmed...
ReplyDeleteThats gonna leave a mark!
