And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? to clarify, the pouch on her back is filled with chalk to dry her hands (of sweat) to give her better grip on the rock. the rope below her does not extend above her so she is the lead climber, no one is helping (pull or guide) her up. inspirational really.
At least she is roped up and using protection. Hopefully with an experienced belay partner below to catch a "whipper" if necessary. It's those free climbers that give me the willys.
